Buried Alive

The beach has become our newest obsession. I've never really been big on the beach. But I've discovered with Kayla its a blast! We've gone the last two weekends in a row, today with Maria also (she thought up the whole "burying" idea).

Kayla asked to talk to her dad today. It was completely adorable, as soon as I handed her the phone she put it on her shoulder and walked over and picked up her laptop. She brought it back to the couch and sat and tried to multi-task the same way she see's Nina do. I couldnt stop laughing!

Camera

Kayla picks up the camera at least once a day to photograph what is going on around her, and snap a shot or two of herself. Im glad that I have a hardy camera cause I enjoy letting her be creative with it.

Just Like Nina

I got to see my girlies today-first time in almost a week! One of the first thing Kayla does is ask me "can I see my room?" . LOL I told her that it was her room and she can see it whenever she wants. When I went in there a bit later to check on her this was how I found her. So funny to see her like that cause thats how I always sat in my room as a kid. On my bed with a book. Definitely some nurture involved in her life choices. Gotta love it!
